And that’s exactly the same thing I always wonder when I go to Paris – why don’t we have a ton of these? Not barrow boys selling tomatoes from Holland & strawberries from God-knows-where, but people selling local produce that they grew and are passionate about. Sure, we have Borough Market but that’s hardly a “normal” market – France seems to have what we would call a gourmet market in every little village!!
