Duck and Asian spices is a perfect combo. Love the idea of pairing it with potatoes as well. Looks fantastic

Duck and five spice mix really go perfectly well together. I make duck very similar to your recipe, but with an apricot sauce which I think goes very well with the duck and the spices. But your take with the potatoes sounds intriguing, I'll definitively give it a try.
