This is great – I love your description of the dishes looking like woodland scenes. Pictures look lovely too, especially the one with droplets of gazpacho coming out of the jug… yum

Looks almost too pretty to eat! Good to know that the mains keep up the interest – it was hard to tell from the canape selection although you could tell it was going to be something a bit different..!

What a triumph Texture was. Am seriously contemplating going there for my 30th after such a stunning meal (the other contenders for the big birthday splash-up being Umu and the Fat Duck) it’s rare you get so many seamlessly executed dishes in one sitting, and given this was the set lunch menu I thought £22 was totally bargainous. Count me in for a return visit Niamh. Anytime.
