The Ice Hotel, Lapland
Greetings from the Ice Hotel in Swedish Lapland. I am here with Discover the World on a three night trip, and on night two. I have stolen a few minutes to post a few photos before I go stay in my ice room. I will report back!

the doors were indeed AWESOME. No hot water bottles but you do have an arctic sleeping bag so s’ok :)

Yes! It is his 7th season so he has a few tricks up his sleeve I would imagine :)

Amazing place! Stayed there back in 2004. It was my other halfs 30th and the staff in the Homestead resaurant carried a fabulous ice sulpture to the table along with complimentary Champagne and then sang Happy Birthday. We had one night in an ice room and three nights in one of the chalets. So many great memories from that trip! The Northern lights, the snowmobiles, the hot lingonberry juice, the vodka……
How awesome is that?! And it tops mine with seeing the Northern Lights and having an extra night :)
