Covent Garden Real Food Market Menu – Thursday 24th September
Good morning! No time for photos I am afraid, but there is a menu – I believe that’s called progress! Two vegetarian options today, so come on down vegetarians, we’re not all about the swine. We’ve a leaner cut of pork today, the more decadent and luxurious loin, I thought I would treat you. Great meat again from Yorkshire.
I best get my skates on! See you soon.

I visited Covent Garden today hoping to say “Hello” and to sample the pork sandwich, but I couldn’t find you. Is your stall amongst the food stalls at the eastern end of the market? I could find a polish deli, indian food, spit roast chicken and all sorts of lovely looking stuff, but not your stall. I was there about 12.30. Better luck next time I hope.
Oh, so sorry Dave! I was a little late with issues with my taxi :( I was there at 12.30 though.
Cove next week and I’ll give you a sausage roll on the house as an apology! :) And I’ll be on time. Promise.
The pork & chorizo sausage roll was great – a good meaty tasty pork (I knew I was eating the real thing!) and the chorizo added a nice kick. Crumbly buttery pastry – not too thick . It left me wanting for more, or a bigger one at least!
Thanks Caroline! I was worried the pastry was too thin this week, as it is quite a crumbly shortcrust. However, I did like the taste :)
Makes me hungry. Not being a Londoner, I’m still trying to understand Covent Garden opening hours.
You are open in the afternoons? Where is the produce market? They only open from midnight?
Wow great offerings, the beetroot, tomato and goats cheese tartlet sounds divine!
